o Entering numbers, number formats, basic formulas and calculations
o Graphs and tables, Sorting filtering data,

Week 5 – Microsoft PowerPoint
o Slide panel, creating slides, deleting slides
o Layouts and templates in PowerPoint
o Inserting shapes and pictures and tables
o Giving your presentation and tips for creating effective presentations
Week 6 – Microsoft Access
o Tables, queries, relationships,
o Macros, forms, reports
o Basics on creating effective databases
o Integration with other office products
Week 7 - Microsoft Outlook
o Email, calendar and contacts
o Integration with other Office products
Week 8 – Wrap up of Key Concepts Learned
Learning outcomes
In this course, you will learn how to
o Create and customize your word processing needs in Word
o Create functional spreadsheets in Excel for number processing
o Create basic databases in Access to store large amounts of data
o Use Outlook for your basic Email needs
Course evaluation
A combination of multiple choice, demo exercises using sample data sets, group cases, cumulative assignments to wrap up all concepts learned (especially in the last week – week 8) and possibly take home assignments
