Tell us your story
I was born and raised in Canada and though I love it here, I also love travelling, learning/hearing different languages and experiencing different cultures. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, I got TESL certified and spent 2 years living in South Korea teaching in English immersion kindergartens and immersing myself in Korean culture. Before coming home, I travelled around Europe for 2 months with no real plan/direction, but this experience helped me to overcome fears, and meet a lot of cool and inspiring people. All of these experiences plus working at Skills for Change have helped to guide me in the direction of studying eLearning Program Development. I want to develop educational programs that are interactive and fun for both Adults and children.

What do you enjoy most about working at Skills for Change?
I enjoy being able to interact with a variety of people and hearing their stories. In my role I have first contact with a lot of our clients, and I have a better understanding of the needs and difficulties of newcomers to Canada.
