About the Program

You care about climate change. You care about your future. This program helps connect the two. 

The Youth Climate Workforce Ambassador Program is a paid 6-week opportunity for youth to gain hands-on experience exploring climate action, community engagement, and pathways into the growing green economy. 

Delivered in partnership with Skills for Change, the City of Toronto, and the Toronto Community Benefits Network (TCBN), this program empowers youth to build practical skills while contributing to real conversations about the future of green jobs and climate leadership in Toronto. 

Program Highlights

  • Explore careers and opportunities in the green economy 

  • Meet professionals, community leaders, and industry partners 

  • Build skills in: 

    • Research & data collection 

    • Community engagement 

    • Public outreach & communications 

    • Storytelling & knowledge mobilization 

  • Participate in workshops, site visits, and community events 

  • Help contribute insights that will support future youth green jobs resources and pathways

Program Details

6-Week Paid Program

July 7th – August 13th 2026

10am – 4:30pm (20 hours each week)

Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursdays  

$25/hour  

In person programming in Toronto
