General Ledger is an account that is updated each time a user posts a financial transaction in the SAP system. These accounts are used to come up with financial statements for internal and external reporting. General Ledger accounting ensures the accounting data is always complete and accurate.

    Know the concept and characteristics of Charts of accounts

    Manage the SAP period-end and fiscal year-end closing procedure

    Execute reports of line items, balance sheets and Profit & Loss

    Know the characteristics of the different currency types on SAP

    Post SAP accounting documents on the General Ledger

    Financial Accounting

    This topic will be discussed in the three courses. SAP FICO allows users to manage financial transactions, general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, bank accounting, and financial statements. Training in SAP FICO helps individuals to perform these tasks efficiently, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting.

    Learning Outcome

    Students will learn to create the sap fico master data, perform posting g/l entries, parking a document, posting customer invoices in fi, posting a vendor invoice in fi, looking up payables & receivables reports, transfer ar between customers, clearing receivables & partial payments, taxes in sap

  • General Ledger is an introductory SAP course. There are no prerequisites.
