Maryam Haraji is the Site Supervisor of the Trades Win Support Program. 

She joined Skills for Change in 2016 as a Facilitator/ Counselor of TWSP. She has promoted the program to individuals and organizations and helped internationally trained tradespersons to get their licenses in Canada.

Maryam used to work in the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Iran before she moved to Canada. She has a master’s degree in English as a second language and is TESL Ontario certified.  She has also worked as an ESL teacher in Iran, Malaysia and Canada.

Maryam’s favourite quote is “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

Maryam loves helping the new immigrants and refugees with backgrounds in trades to get their licenses in Canada and find jobs in their fields. She enjoys working with the SFC team.
