
- Academic Upgrading
- Level 1 Apprenticeship training for the trade of Horticultural Technician in Ontario
- Health and Safety training including WHMIS, worker safety and First Aid
- Introduction to Arborist Trade
- Employment preparation training
- Paid work placement in the landscape industry
- Individual counselling and support services
- Applicants who identify as women who are 18 years of age or older, people who identify as non-binary and/or genderqueer, live in Toronto or GTA and are eligible to work in Ontario
- Secondary School (Ontario Grade 12) diploma, or equivalent, at or above the general level
*Selection of successful applicants will be based on a measurable commitment to the training program and a goal of registration as a Horticultural Technician apprentice, or registration in a related trade (such as an Arborist).
