This two hour workshop is offered in partnership with the University of Toronto Medical School and will explore heart health (first hour) and women’s health (second hour).

In the first hour, you will learn about ways YOU can take control of YOUR heart health. Heart disease is the second leading cause of death in Canada. We will cover topics such as diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, and warning signs and risks factors for heart disease.

In the second hour, we will focus on women’s health. Have you ever wondered how many ways there are to prevent pregnancy? Do you have questions about the best times to get pregnant? Are you concerned about cancers that only affect females? In this workshop, we will talk about female reproductive and sexual health, focusing on pregnancy, female health, contraception, and issues that are unique to women.
