Numeracy@Work

 

Numeracy@Work was a project that provided training for newcomers in the Hamilton region to develop adequate numeracy skills to enter the skilled trades. Three (3) accessible eLearning modules were developed in collaboration with experienced staff from Skills for Change, the Immigrants Working Centre, and focus groups of newcomers with international trades experience. The eLearning modules were offered in four languages (English, French, Arabic and Kurdish) and then tested using evidence based methods. This project has concluded, however, you are welcome to complete the training units below.
