This will be a workshop for women to learn more about self-care and improving their well-being.

We will talk about stress reduction, practical time management and healthy life style, creative and new ways of self-care, self-approval, being present, self-compassion, and healthy relationships.

The support group is offered by “Women Connecting with Women” program at Skills for Change. This program addresses the systemic issues of women who face multi-barriers. The program provides women with tools and resources to reduce social isolation, increase self-esteem, increase their network, and build confidence.

The program also provides access to one on one counselling/crisis counselling, support groups, mentoring, language enhancement and life skills training. The end goal is for women who were not born in Canada to feel empowered and to support their social and economic integration in the Canadian Society.
