Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub focuses on the entrepreneurial spirit of newcomers and assists in breaking down the barriers to successfully obtaining employment and/or establishing a business. Additionally, the Hub will be a business incubator for client startup businesses that require the space to establish their business.
Why join the Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub (NEH) program?
The Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub is a full-time program that will use a holistic approach combining training as well as an incubator for startup businesses.
This 8-10 week program will help you to:
- Improve your English
- Learn about labour market information and trends
- Learn how to effectively manage cross-cultural/workplace communication
- Learn life skills
- Discover more about how to start a business and improving your opportunities to become entrepreneurs.
The Newcomer Entrepreneurship Program is free of charge, funded by Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada. It is open to Permanent Residents, and Convention Refugees, with a minimum of CLB or IELTS Level 4.
