Mental Health Awareness Week: Life Skills

This interactive session covers highlight topics focused on personal management aspect
including what is mental health

Mental Health Awareness Week (3rd May – 7th May) is to raise awareness regarding the importance of mental health, and also to provide any information or educational presentation that would be beneficial for our current and future clients (e.g., newcomers, vulnerable population and anyone in Ontario who may need to learn more about how to receive support and how to take care of their mental health). We dedicate this week especially to our guest speakers to talk about their profession, research and expertise to raise awareness for Mental Health.
This interactive session covers highlight topics focused on personal management aspect including what is mental health, causes of mental health problems, risk and protective factors, personal management, healthy coping mechanism and self-care.

Guest Speaker:
Mojgan Haghi, COSTI

Ms. Mojgan Haghi is a Team Leader from COSTI Immigration Services. She is part of the Youth Employment Pathways for Success and is a Soft Skills and Service Excellence Designated Trainer. She has over 20 years of experience in non-profit sector, specialized in adult education, skills training and employment counselling and mentoring.
