Numeracy@Work

 

Numeracy@Work is a new pilot project that will provide training for newcomers in the Hamilton region to develop adequate numeracy skills to enter the skilled trades. Three (3) accessible eLearning modules will be developed in collaboration with experienced staff from Skills for Change, the Immigrants Working Centre, and focus groups of newcomers with international trades experience. The eLearning modules will be offered in three languages (English, French and Arabic) and then tested using evidence based methods If you are interested in completing these training units please contact Balen Jalal at bjalal@skillsforchange.org. This program will conclude August 31, 2018.
